This policy explains what Parusha Foundation does with information you send through https://parushafoundation.org. We use that information to respond to you. We do not sell personal information, and we do not keep form submissions in a database or file on this website.

Who we are

Parusha Foundation is a private foundation in the United States. Our current work and relationships are in Maryland and Virginia. This website shares that work and the longer-term Opportunity for Every Student vision. Questions about this policy can be sent to info@parushafoundation.org.

Information you send us

If you use a form on this website, you choose what to send:

• Contact form. First name, last name, email address, subject, message, and an organization, school, or company name if you include one.
• Get Involved form. First name, last name, email address, how you would like to be involved, areas of interest, an optional message, and an organization, school, or company name if you include one.

We also receive the time of the message so we know when it arrived. We do not ask for payment details on this website, and we do not solicit public donations here.

How we use it

We use what you send to:

• read and reply to your message;
• understand a question, story idea, school inquiry, or interest in getting involved;
• follow up if we need a little more information.

A form submission does not create a volunteer, mentorship, speaking, or partnership placement. Sending a message gives us permission to use the details in it to respond.

Email only

Form messages are sent by email to info@parushafoundation.org. They are not saved on the website server. Messages may remain in our email account and our email provider’s systems until they are deleted in accordance with our operational needs and applicable requirements. Please do not include sensitive information, such as a student’s health details or a government identification number, in a website form.

Cookies

This website does not set its own cookies. The Contact and Get Involved forms include a short-lived code in the form so we can confirm the message came from that page and reduce automated submissions. That code is not used for advertising and is not used to follow you on other websites.

Videos and other websites

Some pages embed videos from YouTube. YouTube may collect information under its own policy when those videos load or play. Links to YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn leave this website, and those sites have their own privacy practices. YouTube’s policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.

Children

This website is written for a general audience in the United States, including families, educators, and other adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13 through these forms. If you believe a child under 13 sent us personal information, email info@parushafoundation.org and we will delete that message. Student stories or photographs are published only with the appropriate permission.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for targeted advertising. We share a message only when needed to reply, when you ask us to, or when US law requires it. Email delivery uses the mail service of the website host.

US privacy requests

If you live in Maryland, Virginia, or elsewhere in the United States, you can email info@parushafoundation.org to ask what we received from you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it from our email. There is nothing to opt out of selling, because we do not sell personal information.

Because messages are delivered by email and are not stored on the website, we can act only on copies that remain in our email. You can also leave a form blank and close the page.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
